Welcome to Ankur Club

Ankur, "a Blossom or a Sprout", as the name suggests is a Social Charitable Organisation registered under the “Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860”.

A Club run and managed by a group of over 100 young, dynamic and likeminded women who've come together with the objective of aiding the underprivileged and contributing to the lives of those in need. For e.g Orphans and young youth who need a solution to their psychological, social, financial and ethical problems. To support this endeavour, Ankur organises events wherein the proceeds are utilised towards such social causes for the betterment of the life of those in need.

Ankur helps the underprivileged blossom through a variety of social services that nurtures the disadvantaged and sows seeds of hope even in the bleakest of lives. The Club's members as a collective, a family, of over hundred ladies hailing from reputed backgrounds ensure that the core objective of financially supporting the disadvantaged children, young widows, provide medical aid to the poor, develop rehabilitation centers for juvenile delinquents, and impart educational and skilled training programs for school dropouts never waiver. It also supports aged and the physically handicapped and takes keen interest in protecting the environment.

Some of goals Ankur has achieved over the years include:

    • Free eye camps under the Harsha Vardhana Motiwala Charitable trust.
    • Installation of Tube wells at the Lepers Colony in R.K.Puram.
    • Supported organization like Palna, Prabhadevi Institute for the
    • Handicapped, Mother Teresa's Orphanage and Tikri Slums.
    • Supported Udyan, a home for orphaned children, run by Mrs.Kiran Modi.
    • Worked with India Vision Foundation, chaired by Dr.Kiran Bedi.
    • Aided the set up of Godhuli (Senior Citizens Home) in Dwarka.
    • Organized a limbs camp in Agra.
    • Sponsoring canteen, RTV Bus, & other facilities for Sahan, an institute for mentally impaired.
    • Adopted a Balwadi at Begumpura, a small crèche cum school for the children between the age group of 3-5.
